# Questions people ask before getting in touch

If yours is not here, ask it. A short conversation is usually enough to figure out the simplest next step, and it costs nothing.

Do I need to know what I want before contacting you?

Nope. Most people don't. A short conversation is usually enough to figure out the simplest next step.

Do you only work with businesses in the Mount Washington Valley?

That is my focus, yes: small business website and tech work across the Mount Washington Valley.

Do I need a domain name?

Yes, it's your address, like yourbusiness.com. If you don't have one, I'll register it in your name for free with any tier. You pay the registrar directly, usually $10 to $25 a year, and I never take control of it.

Do I need a Google Business Profile?

Probably. It's your listing in Google Maps, and for local trades it often matters more than the website itself. I'll claim it, verify it, and fill it in properly for $250 one time. After that it's yours to run. I don't sell monthly SEO.

Can you help me get my domain and email set up?

Yes, kept in your own name and accounts. I'll point you to the right providers and document everything you have.

How long does a project take?

A simple website is usually 1 to 2 weeks. Bigger projects take longer, delivered in small pieces so you're not waiting months to see anything.

How quickly do you make changes once my site is live?

Within three to five business days. Say if something is urgent.

Can you host and deploy my website or work with my existing web designer?

Yes to both. I can host an existing site for a setup fee plus monthly hosting, or handle the technical side alongside your designer.

### Still unsure what you need?

That is the normal starting point, not a problem. Tell me what is going on and I will suggest the simplest next step.
